Part-Time Strategic Partnerships Manager (VW Industry Focus)

5–6 hours/week + responsive comms (calls/emails) as needed

We’re looking for a well-connected, emotionally invested human to lead brand development and strategic partnerships for our award-winning custom VW brand. This isn’t a “fan of old cars” gig - we need someone who already knows the players, speaks the language, and can open doors.

You’ll be securing product-for-promo deals, leveraging relationships, and helping us build long-term alliances with parts companies, suppliers, and platforms that align with our mission. We’re not chasing handouts - we’re offering genuine value and exposure through viral media, storytelling, and high-profile builds.

We are an established brand with nearly a million followers across Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, with content reaching 10s of millions of viewers every month. Our multi-award-winning builds have earned national and international recognition. You won’t be pitching a no-name garage — you’ll be repping a name people already know, trust, and talk about.

What you’ll actually be doing:

  • Pitching and securing strategic brand partnerships—think free/discounted parts in exchange for authentic, high-visibility promo

  • Outreach to auto industry suppliers, upholstery suppliers, and VW aftermarket companies to collaborate on upcoming builds

  • Maintaining relationships with key industry contacts and following up as needed

  • Representing us at trade shows or VW events (optional but highly valuable if you’re already in that world)

  • Keeping communication tight and responsive when opportunities arise—even if it’s outside your 5–6 core hours

Who you are:

  • 5–10 years experience in brand partnerships, automotive marketing, or PR, with a proven track record in securing brand deals.

  • Plugged into the U.S. air-cooled VW scene - you know the vendors, the people, and the culture

  • A natural relationship-builder who can speak to both suits and wrench-turners without sounding like a tool

  • Comfortable negotiating value-based deals that benefit both sides

  • Bonus if you attend shows like SEMA, PRI, or VW Classic—you’ll have better access than we do

Details:

  • 5–6 hours/week part-time, plus availability for email/call follow-ups

  • Negotiable pay based on experience

  • U.S.-based preferred (or with strong U.S. industry connections)

  • Remote-friendly, results-driven
